For starts, I have the aluminum Hinge in the "click" version. I purchased the Hunting Bracket and since they did not have aluminum 3 finger in stock I went ahead and got the brass version. I'm glad I did this, as it compliments the aluminum Hinge so well giving it the perfect weight and feel. My favorite part about the Hunting Bracket is probably the Textured thumb pad. It allows the perfect thumb placement while drawing back your bow (in my opinion). Although the Hinge does not need any kind of thumb pad or funky finger to shoot, adding the hunting bracket might instill a bit for confidence in new hinge shooters so they can utilize its textured thumb pad.
Fit and finish of the brass is top notch but I confidently expect nothing less from Ultraview.
I bought the 3-finger hunting bracket to fit a medium brass Hinge, and as soon as it arrived, I ran to my basement to install it. The finish is excellent, even though it's a different color than the aluminum head on my brass Hinge. The fit took a little bit of finesse to get right. Trying to get the ring finger side of the bracket to slide into the handle of the release took a good bit of pressure. It was not an easy as the thumb side, which slid right in. Once in place, it definitely isn't going anywhere.
I also weighed the release to compare it to my Fulkrum Flex, which is just about the right weight for me at 4.6oz. If I had been smart, I would have weighed my Fulkrum before ordering my bracket and just ordered the brass one to get the weight closer at the start. That being said, the Hinge/bracket combo came in lighter than expected, at only 3.4oz.
I used an old index finger wrist release. Just took the caliper off and it works perfect. Wish I could post pics.
Top Notch! High Quality! Made the leap and no regerts! Fits like a glove and couldn't be happier ! 10 / 10.
i ordered the hunting bracket and don’t know the best way to attach a rope to my wrist any help?
