Hands down the best hinge release I've ever used.
Very comfortable, easy to set up, and not intimidating for first time hinge shooter. Will definitely get another for backup.
First and only hinge I have ever used, but it is by far my favorite handheld release I have used.
I’ve owned dozens of hinges over the years, this one solved a major issue.
The biggest problem with a hinge is the tendency for the user to ball their hand up during the draw cycle. We do this because we’re taught to put all the weight on our index finger to prevent accidentally firing. However this leads to an inconsistent anchor. Personally I struggled with slight left and right misses due to this.
The fulcrum point of the UV hinge is closer to your middle and ring finger. This allows you to draw with a much flatter hand, increasing consistency without the risk of firing.
I also own the UV button and with proper form I can interchange between the two releases without a change in impact point. My only complaint is that I’m running it at the hottest setting. If you adjust much off the hottest setting, you really have to rotate the hinge and I feel like I’m coming out of my anchor.
That being said, I sold all my other releases and exclusively run the Button and Hinge. They just feel molded to my hands.
Like it best hinge I have used.
